KHAS Education Model is applied in all departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
1st semester: Core Program Education:
• One-semester common core curriculum,
• Where universal values are transferred,
• All the competencies of our age are gained,
• All kinds of thinking styles needed by an inquiring and free-thinking individual are presented.
Project-Based Education Model starting from the 2nd semester:
• Curriculums prepared in cooperation with leading sector representatives,
• All theoretical knowledge and practical skills are embedded into project development and implementation processes,
• A structure that offers each student an academic and a sectoral ‘mentor’.
Our vision is to be a faculty that educates innovative, researcher, and entrepreneurial graduates; works with other sectors in the production of information and solutions; preferred by candidate students, lecturers, and alsı by domestic, international, individual, institutional collaborators, and partners; and become one of the most successful universities in our country in terms of all current and potential stakeholders.
Our mission is to train universal graduates who renew their expertise with an understanding of continuous improvement; working with a sense of social responsibility; to pave the way for its stakeholders by supporting and developing innovation and entrepreneurship; to produce information and technology in collaboration with different sectors through an interdisciplinary approach, and to make them available for the community.
