We may sum up the relations developed by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences with industrial organizations under three main topics!

Seminars and Conferences

Guest speakers from various institutions are frequently invited thanks to the location of our university. Many of these events took place as a series of seminars beyond individual speaker talks. The series organized with the contributions of the Turkish Electronic Industry Employers Association or the IBM Seminars can be counted among such events. Every week, a guest outside the university is invited within the course EE 598 Graduate Seminar‘s scope, which is compulsory for students.

Courses

Many of our part-time lecturers are in senior management positions in leading national or international companies in the IT sector. For example, Ceyhun Şahin, Sasgram AG (Switzerland) Managing Partner (GE 462 Crisis Management, CE 479 Enterprise Resource Planning and GE 461 Communications in Management); Cem Haydar Bektaş, Servodata General Manager (PC 117 Informatics and Society), and Cüneyt Kalpakoğlu, Netsafe IT Security Solutions Founder and General Manager (CE 481 E-Business/E-Commerce  and CE 488 IT Security) can be counted among our lecturers who share their experiences in the sector with the students. In numerous courses, our students can listen to the experiences of representatives of various industry organizations, non-governmental organizations, or graduates. Main courses such as GE 103 Engineering Guide and Ethics and PC 117 Informatics and Society become prominent in this context.

IT Festival

IT Festival brings Kadir Has University students and staff together with the sector’s leading companies and organizations. In addition to the fair, seminars, panels, and certified training events are also organized throughout the festival. The IT Specialists of the Year, chosen by our students, are awarded during the festival.
