The Invention of our Students and Academicians in the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department has been Patented

The invention titled “MICROALGAE-CONTAINING COMPOSITE GEL AND MICROALGAE-CONTAINING COMPOSITE GEL MANUFACTURING METHOD,” created by the faculty members of our university’s Molecular Biology and Genetics Department, Prof. Dr. Önder Pekcan and Dr. Bengü Özuğur Uysal, and their students İrem DOĞRUOĞLU, Yağmur AKARSU, and Çağla Selen ŞEN, has been patented in Turkey as of November 29, 2023. The PCT application for international IPR was submitted on February 7, 2024.
