Our University Receives Project Support from “Health Institutes of Turkey” (TÜSEB) for the First Time

Faculty Member Dr. Kemal Yelekçi, PhD, from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Bioinformatics and Genetics became entitled to receive support for his project titled ‘Developing effective and selective new inhibitors for use in cancer treatment by using in silico screening and medicinal chemistry approaches for histone deacetylase HDAC6 and HDAC10 enzymes.’ The project is one of the ten projects to receive support among all 21 projects submitted to Health Institutes of Turkey (TÜSEB), the R&D institution of the Ministry of Health, that aims to provide support for research groups that will pioneer in developing local and national diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment strategies.
